Instruction and Achievement
The Instruction and Achievement Department is responsible for leadership of the district’s academic goals. The department oversees curriculum development and review; professional development related to curriculum, instruction and assessment, and implementation of state and federal programs that directly impact student learning. The department also oversees the district Assessment Center, Quality Compensation (Q Comp) program and English Learners (EL), Talent Development (TD) and integration and equity programming, and collaborates with the Special Education Department in literacy and math efforts, and the Technology Department to support technology integration into the teaching and learning process.
