Educational Benefits Program applications provide critical funding for schools
All District 196 families are encouraged to apply for the Educational Benefits Program (formerly known as the Free and Reduced-Price Meals Program) for the upcoming school year. A NEW application must be submitted each year. Más información | Wax badan ka baro barnaamijka
Your children may qualify for free or reduced-price school meal benefits for school year 2022-23. If a household who meets the State/Federal guidelines and is approved, this provides students with school meal benefits.
An approval for educational benefits allows families to receive discounted or free meals and activity or Community Education fees. Only one application is needed per household. Paper applications are also available from the front office at your child’s school. If you have questions, contact Nutrition@district196.org or call 651-683-6958.
Reminder, parents/guardians are responsible for all meal account debts incurred prior to this school year and any charges incurred through a la carte purchases.
