Reviewed GTD priorities for year and focused on first action area -
Support for GTD Cluster Classroom Teachers for Advanced Differentiation in the Classroom
Members invited to review strategies to implement, tasks, and measurement
Strengths of clustering shared:
Inclusive
Students learn together all day, every day
Teacher receives specialized training in differentiation
Provides support for all students to achieve at high levels
More opportunities for cluster teachers and GTD specialists to collaborate
Clustering model requires collaboration among adults
Supports for GTD cluster classroom teachers:
Asynchronous PD
Ongoing PD and collaboration with GTD specialists
Opportunities to share ideas across district
District communication and classroom resources
August 18th - half-day for GTD specialists and cluster teachers to learn, collaborate, and plan

Workshop model
Inquiry-based in units of study, increased student choice
Depth and complexity prompts (content agnostic, thinking tool)
Pre-assessment in math and implementation of math extensions
