Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Council

Purpose

Ensure active community participation in planning and improving the instruction and curriculum affecting state graduation standards, and recommend to the School Board districtwide education standards, assessments and program evaluations.

District 196 seeks interested parents for curriculum advisory council

Members

The Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Council consists of 16 district parents and residents, eight employees, five students, the director of Instruction and Achievement and up to three school board members (members of the Board Curriculum and Instruction Committee).

Terms

  • Students: One-year term
  • Members: Three-year term
