Eagan High School was the only Minnesota high school to medal in every debate category at state this year, including Tristin Nguyen and Param Thakkar winning the State Championship in Policy Debate. Other notable performances included Policy Debate quarterfinalists Mia Werden and Karyn Wochnick (EHS); Lincoln Douglas Debate semifinalist Alex Huang (EHS); Public Forum Debate semifinalists Shreyan Jena and Hayagiriv Sajja (EHS); Congressional Debate Saanvi Seth (third place) and Nabiha Kashif (fifth place) (EHS); and Public Forum Debate quarterfinalists Herawie Kebede and Abby Tranter (Eastview HS).
