District 196 Finance Director Christopher Onyango-Robshaw emphasized the importance of conservative budget estimates, noting past enrollment projections have been within a percentage point of actual figures, ensuring appropriate staffing levels. The district is projecting stable enrollment, and school tax levies are strictly regulated by state formulas, limiting increases.
