Hands-on Learning for Computer Science

Eager Woodland Elementary students designed a colorful maze to test their computer coding skills. Working with robotic mice, the students programmed directions, using logic and feedback loops to glide through twists and turns. The mice only move when the students provide clear instructions. “Try again!” one student squealed.
Learning to think like computer scientists at an early age, District 196 students are preparing for a future filled with innovation, problem-solving, and infinite possibilities.
