Nicole Hosek, a STEAM teacher and magnet team leader at Glacier Hills Elementary School of Arts and Science, has been named the Magnet Schools of America (MSA) Region VI Teacher of the Year – one of six finalists for the national honor to be announced in April. 

Known for her hands-on, inquiry-based approach, Hosek brings science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) to life, fostering creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking in her students. Parents and colleagues praise her unwavering commitment. One Glacier Hills parent shared, “Ms. Hosek consistently promotes creativity, innovation, and a genuine love for teaching. She has built a safe and supportive classroom where students collaborate, solve problems, and grow as individuals.”
