2023 Bond Referendum Facilities Improvements

This webpage features ongoing progress to construct and implement facilities and equipment improvements approved by District 196 voters in a May 9, 2023 bond referendum. Thanks to this investment in schools and community, improvements in safety and security, space for growth, and consistent experience will provide students and staff with high-quality learning environments across the district well into the next decade.
 
Most of the initial work has focused on planning and design for the first phase of projects. When design is complete, bids are awarded for the work, then construction begins. Projects are listed below in the school-level sections and completion-date timeline. More information, renderings and photos will be available there when design is completed and construction begins on the first phase of projects.  
 
The district’s partners on these projects are Wold Architects & Engineers, Knutson Construction, and financial advisors Ehlers, Inc.
