Destination Imagination

What is Destination Imagination?
Destination Imagination is the world's largest creative problem solving program with teams competing in every US state and in over 40 countries worldwide.

Teams of up to seven members begin by selecting a challenge.  Team members then work together for several months to find solutions to their challenge.  Teams will compete in front of an audience and appraisers at the regional tournament in March.  The top placing teams at regions will perform at the state tournament, and from there teams could possibly go on to Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee.

DI is a fun, creative hands-on program that draws from various disciplines: science, theater arts, technology and history.  Students learn valuable life skills such as goal setting, time management, team building, public speaking and leadership.  The goal of D.I. is to teach participants that through creativity, teamwork, and perseverance, they can work together to develop creative solutions to complex problems!
