Mr. Sackreiter instructs both at Woodland and Greenleaf Elementary Schools.
Some goals of Woodland's instrumental music program include; helping students make music alone and with others, develop learning strategies and thinking skills, and to continue encouraging a life-long appreciation of music.
The instrumental music program provides instruction for band students in small-group lessons and full-group rehearsals. Concerts are presented in January and April. Instruction begins during the summer after the fourth grade year in school. Fifth grade students new to Woodland also have the opportunity to join the band program.
The Spring 5th Grade Band Concert will be April 22 @ 7:00 p.m.
