Welcome to the PCN Website. PCN (Parent Communication Network) has three primary functions. One function is to enhance the parents' experience as members of the VMS community. This goal is accomplished through informative and educational seminars that you may attend, a VMS Directory to enable VMS parents to communicate with one another and monthly PCN meetings which you may attend to ask questions or voice concerns. The second function is to provide students with two grade level parties per grade during the school year. The third function is to provide volunteers for VMS in order to strengthen school/community relations through participation. Volunteer opportunities include coordinating and helping with the grade level parties, classroom volunteers, library volunteers, helping with the staff appreciation meal,
and many other activities.
All parents and guardians of VMS students are members of the VMS/PCN and are invited to participate in all events. PCN exists in order to address and direct the needs of parents and act as liaison between the Site Council, Parents and VMS staff. Our PCN meets the 1st Monday of each month (please see your school calendar) in the staff lounge from 4:00 - 6:00.
