The Student Council is a group of
students from grades two through five that meet regularly
during the school year and represent each of the
classrooms. Student representatives may be chosen
by classroom teacher, elected by classmates or chosen
through an essay contest in the fall of each year.
This activity is lead by teachers, Jeannie
Swanson and Shannon
Snesrud.
The
Southview Student Council objectives include:
Listening
to student body ideas and concerns

ideas and projects that encourage school spirit

supporting students and teachers with special projects

student participation within the school community
