patrolPatrols

 

The Southview School Patrol members consist of responsible fifth graders. The supervisors for this activity are Southview teachers: Jeannie Swanson and Shannon Snesrud.

 

The school patrol's role is as follows:

 

•Assist in training school children when and where to cross the street
•To help students upon arrival and dismissal of school
•To protect the children from any type of accident
•Assist children while riding the bus

 

The school patrol has two captains whose duties are:

 
•See that patrols report for duty on time
•Make sure all members follow correct procedures when crossing students
•Report students who disobey the safety patrolsPat
•Report all accidents
•Be a role model to all students in the promotion of safety education
