| The
Title 1program provides additional assistance to students
in grades 1-5 who need reinforcement in the areas of reading,
math, or written language. Students work in small groups
at their instructional level to learn strategies that enhance
success in skills being taught in the classroom. Criteria
for entrance to the program is determined by classroom
performance, teacher recommendation and informal testing.
The goal of the Title 1 program is to enable students to
achieve success in academic areas at grade level average.
The program is intended to be flexible with students moving
in and out of groups as needed. |
