Classroom Music at Shannon Park 

Music classes at Shannon Park provide students with frequent opportunities to actively participate in a wide variety of exciting musical activities including singing, playing instruments, moving, dancing, composing, reading music, and listening to music. Students take part in music classes three or four times each week with one of Shannon Park's two vocal music specialists. 

Multicultural Focus 

Students at Shannon Park are given the opportunity to become acquainted with ethnic music from every corner of the globe. In addition to learning many songs and games from countries around the world, students are able to examine and play authentic musical instruments of Africa, Asia, Latin America and of the Native Americans.
