Third Grade Star Lab

The Star Lab is a traveling planetarium which is shared by the elementary schools in District 196. Third grade is an exciting year for children at Shannon Park because it is the first year that they get to go into the Star Lab. The children learn about our solar system, the galaxy, and constellations.

The children will also be able to see a representation of the current night sky, and learn strategies that will enable them to find the constellations. They will be excited to go out and show you the wonders of the night sky!
