Welcome to our Shannon Park school family. I have spent much of my professional career at Shannon Park and want it to be the best school possible. I am very proud of the staff and the special spirit they bring to Shannon Park Elementary. It takes two great institutions, the family and the school, working together to provide growth and learning for children. We are committed to providing students with rigorous academic standards that challenge them to achieve higher standards. To this end, we will strive to develop an educational program that addresses each child’s individual needs and allows all students to achieve to their full potential. One of the most vital components of a child’s education is open communication between home and school. Each plays an important role in contributing to the success of students. I encourage you to contact your child’s teacher, or me, if you have any questions about your child’s educational program or the school. Beginnings are important. It is the beginning of a new school year and it holds such promise for our Shannon Park community.
