Welcome to the 2015/2016 School Year
Kick off the 2015-2016
Kick off the 2015-2016 fundraising efforts by joining the Shannon Park Community of Readers! This year we are offering a variety of keys to open doors to learning and for you to make an investment in your child’s education and learning experiences.
The site council has set a FALL fundraising goal of $25,000.00 for 2015 – 2016 school year. By investing $30.00 or more per child, YOU can help make this fundraising goal a success.

If your child loves to sing, Da Capo provides an opportunity for them to share their passion for music with others! The District 196 Music Department, in partnership with District 196 Community Education, is excited to offer a musical learning opportunity for your child. Da Capo is a non-auditioned choir that focuses on vocal technique, music reading and artistic expression in a fun and educational setting. This feeder program will allow students the opportunity to be a part of the District’s Dakota Valley Festival Children’s Choir (DVFCC) next September. Current DVFCC members must take Da Capo Choir during the 2015-16 school year in order to be eligible to sing again in the DVFCC in the FALL of 2016. (More information is available through your school’s music specialist.) The choir will be directed by Kathleen Radspinner, music specialist, at Shannon Park.
