 Expectations for Students Enrolled
in the
Washington D.C. Trip

Back to DC Home Page

 Please Read Carefully
EXPECTATIONS: It is expected that the students represent themselves as young ladies and gentlemen. That they act with maturity while at school and while on the trip. Failure to behave appropriately may result in removal from the trip. It is at the discretion of the tour moderator, Mr. Siefkes, to decide who participates on the Washington D.C. trip. The trip is to be safe, fun, and exciting for all students. The right to refuse a student onto the trip is in the best interest of the tour.
AT SCHOOL: Students need to understand that their behavior and conduct in school is monitored. ISS, OSS, and detentions may forfeit their participation for the D.C. Trip. It is important that students conduct themselves in a positive and proper manner. Get to class on time, do your school work, and respect other students, teachers and administrators.

WHILE ON THE TRIP: Students MUST understand the importance of listening and following directions while on the trip. This includes the airport, hotels, restaurants, tour bus, and any memorial or site we visit! Error on the side of caution, make decisions and act as if your parents were with you. Many of the sites we see are under tight security and demand respect from the visitor, (YOU). Students need to be aware of their surroundings and most of all enjoy the trip.

STUDENTS WILL OBEY all guides at all times. No Exceptions! Failure to do so would result in one or more of the following:
1. Parent phone call!
1. Become a personal
"buddy" with a guide for the remainder of the trip.
2. Restrict movement at the hotel.
4. Elimination from event participation.
