Volunteer Opportunities
Parent volunteers are an essential part of making the school year successful and fun for our students. We know parents want to be involved. This year we are focusing on restructuring our volunteer program at SHMS to improve the opportunities available for parents to get involved. We encourage all parents to participate in the education of our students by sharing their time and talents by helping staff "behind the scenes," and becoming involved in various fundraising and social activities. Even the smallest contribution makes a difference in the overall quality of education for our students.
Many of the volunteer opportunities are flexible to meet the needs of your busy schedule. Please take a moment to read about the many volunteer opportunities that are available to your throughout the school year. Sign up generally occurrs at Jamboree. However, contact people are listed and will take calls at any point during the year. Scott Highlands depends on and appreciates the help from our volunteers.
