On January 28, thirteen AWESOME students from Mrs. Peterson’s homeroom spent a couple hours at the Prince of Peace Lutheran church in Burnsville packing meals for the Feed My Starving Children organization. The entire group of about 150 people packed and boxed over 111,000 meals that will feed approximately 307 children for a year. The group had a great time and packed 9 boxes of meals themselves (about 2,000 individual meals). WAY TO GO KIDS! YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE!! |
