Stay current
The schedule at SES is slightly different than the schedule at the other district high schools. Our schedule compacts the curriculum to allow for the intensive theme study days near the end of each trimester. There are several ways to stay on top of the calendar.
- Register your email address to get reminders of events and meetings. These are sent only when needed. Conference dates, new newletters and updates, volunteer opportunities, and overnights are all covered. Note that this is not a weekly update on events at the school. Typically 1-2 reminders are sent per month.
- Download a copy of the calendar (pdf). These are usually handed out during the first week of school and are available here starting after the third week of August.
- Download a copy of the latest newsletter. These are usually mailed home 2-3 times during the year. Updates on events at school as well as schedules for field studies are included.
- Download a copy of the latest counseling update. These are usually distributed to the students 3-4 times during the year. College visits, testing information, scholarship updates and similar information is included.
- Check the web site for your child's house. Junior houses are rose and blue, senior houses are green and gold. Each house updates parents in ways that draw on the strength of the staff in that house. Contact staff directly if you have questions.
