Population Conference 2012

11th Annual Human Population Conference
Date: January 4 and 5, 2012
Time: 8am-2pm with a break from 11:15- 12:15 each day.
Location: School of Environmental Studies at the Minnesota Zoo
Presented by students from the School of Environmental Studies
The public is invited to attend any part of this two day student-led conference discussing the status of human populations.
Student presentations include: featured presenters, panels, forums and poster sessions.
Topics are arranged into strands: Population and Resources: Impacts on Earth Systems. Social and Cultural Considerations of Population Dynamics, Economic Considerations of Population Dynamics, Population Dynamics: Movement and Influence. Conference strands and overviews are here.
Keynote speakers will present each day: Wednesday's keynote speaker will present at 9:30 am. Thursday's Keynote is scheduled to present at 9:30am and again at 10:45.
The conference is free, parking is in the front parking lot on Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. We ask that you register in the school office when you enter. Directions are given here.
