Government is responsible to provide equal access and rights for citizens.  It must provide safety, security, accessibility to common utilities, schools, and other social needs expressed by those citizens.

It is essential that communities make an honest effort to promote efficient energy use, acceptable air and water quality, and preservations of natural setting.

A successful community will provide strong and easily accessible education.

Public transportation should be easily accessible.  Living areas and places of work should be condensed to make it more convenient for people to walk.

Costs for housing, health care, and transportation should be affordable.

Emphasis should be placed on local businesses that are easily accessible.  Plentiful job opportunities should be available.

It is essential that community development be purposeful and a goal of acceptance and inclusion.  A sense of community should be nurtured through third places, community celebrations to develop a feeling of neighborliness and encourage ethical behavior
