Lewis and Clark

Welcome to the Lewis and Clark Field Study Page. Those four girls peering down on you from the top of this page are from the 2001 trip. They are actually looking down on the Missouri River from the White Cliffs section of the river in north central Montana. It is the only truly wild and remote region still left on the Missouri. Over the course of four summers from, 2000 through 2004, SES students and staff studied much of the original route that Meriwether Lewis and William Clark explored from May1804 until September 1806.
