Great web page design is tailored to meet the needs of your audience. It doesn't
matter how great your content or design are if the audience isn't able to access
the information they want. When designing your site, ask yourself the following
questions:
- Is the site easy to navigate (clear navigation aids, consistent icons, easy
access to home page)?
- Do the pages load quickly?
- Does consistency exist between the pages to assist the viewer in navigation?
- Does the home page contain enough information to allow the audience to use
the site quickly and properly?
- Are hyperlinks used correctly (correct layout and design, correct colors)?
- Are graphics used to enhance the site without distracting the audience?
