Eastview's Film, Video and Animation Festival 2004-2005

The 4th annual Eastview Film and Video festival was held on Friday, May 13th in the Performing Arts Center.  The festival  showcased work from Eastview students in the categories of music video, documentary, video poetry, animation, experimental video and short film.

The festival premiered Jake Kindberg's short film Premature. Kindberg, a senior at Eastview, will attend Biola University in California next fall to study Christian filmmaking. His short film "Extreme Ways" appeared in the Nashville Film Festival in May, 2004. He previously won an Excellence in Media Production award from the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) for his short film Inside Us All in November 2002. Eastview's theater was packed again on Friday, May 24, 2002 to catch the premiere of a film entitled Switch created by Eastview student Joe Filipas.
