These are the beliefs we as staff focus on each day as we teach and work with elementary school children:

*Our students must learn the basic skills necessary for future learning and successful life.

*Our students must be offered choice, enrichment and remediation opportunities somewhere in the curriculum. Our QUEST program offers all three.

*Our students must feel safe, secure and confident in the learning climate provided by the school so teaching and learning remain the top priorities.

Bill of Rights and Responsibilities

1. Students and adults have the right to learn.
This means that everyone has the responsibility to conduct themselves in a matter that will not disturb others.

2. Students have the right to be treated with kindness and respect.
This means that students have the responsibility to be cooperative and to treat others the way they would like to be treated.

3. Adults have the right to be treated respectfully.
This means that everyone has the responsibility to be courteous and cooperative towards adults.

4. Students and adults have the right to have all property respected.
This means that everyone has the responsibility to protect all property from damage and to keep our school litter free.

5. Students and adults have the right to be safe.
This means that everyone has the responsibility to use self-control and to not harm others.
