  • Academics

We are committed to academic excellence in a safe, nurturing 21st century environment. Our teachers provide clear and focused instruction, ongoing formative and summative assessments, and a commitment to excellent academic achievement.

Rosemount Middle School offers core academic classes of math, social studies, science and language arts; students will also have the ability to choose from our wide variety of elective courses. Our elective courses include band, choir, modern literature, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, French, physical education, and a variety of technical education, family consumer science, art and communication classes. We also offer targeted electives in the areas of strategic math and reading for identified students.

We are committed to meeting the needs of individual learners through programs offered such as gifted and talented, Irish Time, Irish Overtime and Extended day. We honor the opportunity in educating your student to reach their full potential.

  • Activities

All 7th and 8th grade boys and girls are invited to take part in athletics. Sixth grade students are not eligible for interscholastic sports, however, they can participate in all club, fine arts, and intramural activities. See the About Us page for more information on athletics and activities at RMS.

  • Events & Progress

Be sure to review the school calendar for general events. In addition, you may also wish to access your child's teachers through their Moodle courses. A primary point of information, however, still remains to be an open communication with your child's teachers and a regular check of your child's progress through SchoolView.
