Rosemount Middle School

Welcome to the Rosemount Middle School. Our goal is to help every student reach his or her full potential. We believe that the whole child's development of personal, social, physical, and academic skills is critical for success in life. We want every student to have success in the classroom and also in before and after school experiences. Whether you're a parent, student or community member, our intent is for you to feel welcome in our school.

  • With the 2014-15 school year just around the corner, we would like to give you a jump start on information, processes, and changes. The Back-to-School Kick Off is scheduled for August 26th from 12:00-7:00pm at RMS. During this time, you and your family can join us at RMS for gathering information, filing forms, school pictures, sign-up opportunities, and many other options. This window of time is an open attendance/come when you can format. It is a great time to not only take care of all those "business" pieces for school, but also meet and greet teachers and staff and spend a little community time!

Below, you will find a few useful links and informational flyers for the BTS Kick Off in addition to several online options for getting ready for school.

Parents of 6th graders who were involved in the Gifted and Talented program in elementary school are invited to attend one of the middle school GT informational meetings during Back-to-School Day on August 26th. The meeting times will begin at 1:30 and 5:30 (content at both meetings will be the same) and will last approximately 30 minutes. We will meet in Lecture Room A located near the library. At this meeting parents can meet the GT coordinator (Tiffany Kienitz) and will have the opportunity to learn about the levels of GT services and "beyond the classroom" enrichment opportunities, as well as ask questions.

SchoolView, our student information access for attendance and academic information, also contains FeePay and the new health emargancy card. FeePay is used for sports and activities sign-up along with the ability to pay registration fees and other school-related fees (yearbook, tech ed, etc.).

New student and 6th grade Orietation Day is August 19th from 12:00-6:00pm.
