District 196 will host a College Fair, sponsored by the Minnesota Association of College Admission Counselors (MACAC). The District 196 College Fair will be held at Rosemount High School on Tuesday, March 21, from 4 – 6:00 p.m. Approximately 115 public and private colleges and universities, community and technical colleges, proprietary schools and military organizations will be represented at the fair. This is the eighth year that District 196 has hosted this event. This regional college fair event gives students and parents an opportunity to explore a variety of options for post-high school education, technical training or military service. Instead of filling out numerous cards for each college you are interested at the college fair, you can now use a barcode to give colleges your information. When you are talking with a college representative, just ask them if they can 'scan' your barcode. Simply go to www.gotocollegefairs.com, select the fair you will be attending, enter your personal information and print off your barcode. More information about the fair at www.mn-acac.org. Click on "College Fairs", to learn more about the event. Admission to the college fair is free.
