Starting in September, Rosemount High School, with help from the Irish Green Team implemented a ‘No Idle Zone’ campaign for the school.  We ask that when waiting in front of the school, or even in the parking lots to pick someone up, that you turn off your engine if you will be parked for more than 30 seconds.  Research has shown that emissions from vehicles are the leading cause of pollution in Minnesota, that emissions from vehicles are harmful to human health and that idling wastes fuel and is not good for your car.  Thank you for your support in making RHS a more environmentally safe and healthy place to be!
