The first day of school is Tuesday, September 8.  
Here are a few first day reminders.

• 9th grade students will report to the Student Center at 7:30 a.m. and will have a full day of school.
• 10th - 12th grade students will report to Homerooms at 11:00 a.m. and will have a half day of school.
• Students in grades 10-12 who need to ride the bus to school should report to the Attendance Office at 7:30 a.m.  They will be directed to a morning study hall.
• School lunch will be available for purchase.  Lunchroom personnel will be available to credit lunch accounts at lunchtime.
• Pictures will be taken for all students grades 9-11 (and seniors new to our school).  Students are reminded to bring their picture packets and picture money if they wish to purchase pictures. Extra picture packets will be available at the picture station.  Picture information is available at our summer mailing web site      ( http://www.district196.org/rhs/summermailing/summermailing.pdf  ). 
• Students should bring their Emergency Cards with them.  If you have lost the pre-slugged emergency card that was mailed home, additional forms are available at our summer mailing web site. 
• Students with Career Development classes on their schedule will stay at RHS on Tuesday, September 8.  Career Development classes begin on Wednesday, September 9.
• Students who are registered to attend the School of Environmental Studies will have a full day of school at SES on Tuesday, September 8.  SES students with RHS classes on their schedule will begin those courses on Wednesday, September 9.  
• Student Planners will be provided to all 9th grade students at no cost (part of the 9th grade curriculum).  Students in grades 10-12 may purchase a planner each day during lunch for $5 until our supply runs out. 
• Seniors and Priority One Students will be able to purchase parking passes for $60 on Tuesday. Remaining spots will go on sale for junior students on Thursday.
