For the past 14 years, our Community Education Department has coordinated a back-to-school supplies project to provide school supplies to students in the district who need them. This year donations have been down slightly and the number of students in need is greater than ever before. If you are out buying supplies for your children in the next week and have the ability to purchase some supplies for other students who need them, your generosity would be greatly appreciated. Donations of supplies can be dropped off at any District 196 school. Cash donations are also welcome and appreciated to purchase supplies. Cash donations may be dropped off at Falcon Ridge Middle School or mailed to: Community Education, Jennifer Ernst BSSP Coordinator, 12900 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley, MN 55124. Checks should be payable to “District 196 Community Education.”
