The Marching Band at Rosemount High School is part of a comprehensive instrumental music program that includes five concert bands, two jazz ensembles, numerous small ensembles and a rigorous private lesson program. Several students from the Band program have been selected for membership in this year's Minnesota All-State Music Ensembles.
This year’s show is entitled “Move - Or Be Moved.” The show’s title reflects the “musical and visual flow” of the music being performed.
The Rosemount High School Marching Band is proud of their legacy of excellence while performing and competing throughout the Midwest. 2006 Honors and Awards include:
•Grand Champion, Outstanding Winds, Outstanding Color Guard, Outstanding Percussion, Outstanding Drum Majors and People’s Choice Award at the Champlin Park Field Show Competition;
