Our Student Council at Rosemount Elementary serves as a democratic method for all citizens of our school to have a say in the operation of our school. Through our Student Council, every student's ideas can be heard. The Student Council keeps the students, principal, and teachers informed of each others ideas, needs, and opinions.

The Student Council makes sure that everyone in our school cooperates in the day-to-day responsibilities of being part of a school community, provides improvements and special activities, operates the school store, and works together on specific problems. Last year we funded and put on a Teacher Appreciation breakfast.

Every Wednesday Student Council runs the school store from 9:10-9:20 in the North Gym.

The classroom representatives and alternates are either appointed by the teacher or voted on by their individual classroom.
