ISD 196 Schools YMCA School-Age Care Program Highlights
Our program is open to children entering kindergarten through fifth grade who attend ISD 196 schools, The ISD 196 school-age care program is a joint effort of the Southwest Area and Minnesota Valley YMCAs, The YMCA School-Age Care Program includes daily activities such as arts and humanities, health and wellness, science and technology, homework support, character development, and more! A nutritious breakfast is served for an additional fee, A snack is provided in the afternoon at no additional charge.

Kindergarten - The YMCA is unable to offer full-day programming for kindergarten students. However, morning kindergartners may attend the morning School-Age Care Program, and afternoon kindergartners may attend Ihe afternoon School-Age Care Program, A kindergarten program is available at the Southwest Area YMCA for children who attend Glacier Hills, Woodland, Pinewood, or Red Pine schools.
