PTO Meeting Minutes, March 2006

Topic: New Addition Tour.
Secretary Report: Minutes from February. Motion to Approve, Seconded, Motion carried.
Treasures Report: Next two big fundraisers are the Spring Book fair and the Carnival.
Based on current projections we should end the school year with an $8,000 cushion.
Volunteer Coordinator Report: We are looking for volunteers for the Spring Carnival.
You can contact Kris Sieve or Jody Polson if you are interested in volunteering at the carnival.
Principal Report: Projection Allocation for 2006/2007 school year was discussed.
Presidents Report: Parkview Scholarship applications are now being accepted from seniors who attended Parkview, $500.00 will be awarded in May to the winner. April is the month to apply for PTO officer positions. See Pam Haldeman if you are interested. Elections will be held at the May PTO meeting.
Carnival Update: We have 122 volunteers thus far. We need 244 more volunteers to staff the carnival. We really need help with games and food. Donations are also needed for the carnival. Store bought baked goods, prizes and soda just to name a few. The next planning meeting for the carnival is scheduled April 2nd contact Kay Larson’s for more information. Pre-sale T-shirts and Sweatshirts will be available before the carnival.
Join your friends from Parkview at the Twins game on April 15th 2006. We have already sold 120 tickets. Contact Kellie Linnerooth if you are interested.
