PTO Meeting Minutes
February 20, 2006 6:30 pm
Attendance:
Staff: Helen Jacobse, Karen Williams, Heather Dean, Kari Sohlberg, Joan Johnson
Parents: Deborah Poehler, Connie Normandeau, Kris Sieve, Dallen Schnichels,
Jody Polson
Secretary’s Report: Minutes from January, Motion to Approve. Seconded, Motion Carried.
Treasure’s Report: Everyone in attendance received a copy of the Fundraiser Projection, The Budget for the 2006-2007 School year and a copy of the 2006-2007 Cash Position Report.
Principal’s Report: Thank you to all of the parents that helped with the meals during conferences. Your time was greatly appreciated it.
Magnet Schools: 80% of applicants were able to receive their 1st choice. 359 Students applied, 279 were accepted and 80 are on a waiting list.
Presidents Report: Parkview’s Spaghetti Dinner is scheduled for May 18th 2007.
This event will include Bingo, Auctions Baskets and Bingo Prizes.
Spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held March 19th through the 21st.
Open Gym Nights~ 6:30-8:00, February 26th, and March 26, 2007 (last one for the school year)
Parkview Culvers Day: 2/22, 3/22, 4/26, 5/24. Please be sure to mention that you are with Parkview when you place your order. Parkview receives 15% back on purchases the entire day.
Make your Calendar ~Twins Day at the Dome, May 5th 2007 !
Fundraiser Report: March 7th @ 7:00pm varies vendors will be presenting their product lines. Everyone is welcome to visit and provide feedback on the 07-08 fundraisers.
