Technology At NV
There is substantial evidence that technology has become a vital component in education.
Northview Elementary students are surrounded with the use of current technology in the classrooms and throughout our school. During the 2008-2009 school year, we have been very fortunate to use the following each day.

• 2 Mac lab classrooms
• LCD Projectors in each classroom
• 10 Student Interactive Smartboards
• 7 document cameras to project information from books, paper, video, or to use for media
• Digital cameras at each grade level

Our students are highly engaged because of their ability to interact with 21st Century teaching styles. Kindergarteners through 5th graders are able to challenge themselves using the updated software to enhance projects and learning. Some include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Kidspiration 3, iweb, iphoto, imovie, and garage band to name a few student favorites.
