News team

The Northview News Team is a volunteer opportunity that is available to our fifth graders. Students who would like to be reporters add their names to a consideration list. Each quarter, responsible students are selected from one fifth grade class. These students become the reporters. One reporter is needed for each day of the school week.

Reporters read the news from a form that is filled out by Mrs. Hemsey. Daily announcements include the day of the school year, cycle days, weather forecast, lunch menu, and Pledge of Allegiance. In addition, Student Council news and Northview All-Star students are featured on the news throughout the year.
