Inspiring Math Excellence Through Competition

Perennial Math has two types of competition. The first is an annual membership competition for grades 3-8 with separate levels (Rookie: grades 3-4), (Intermediate: grades 5-6), and (Advanced: grades 7-8). The competition consists of 4 tests beginning in November and ending in February. Each test has six questions and takes 30 minutes to complete. Take a sample test!

Perennial Math was created by Dr. Sylvia Dean in Huntsville, Alabama - the Rocket City. Huntsville is the proud home of NASA, Space Camp, Redstone Arsenal, and Cummings Research Park which has many Space, Defense, and Technological Companies. Dr. Sylvia Dean has been a gifted specialist for 26 years and has coached and coordinated robotics, math, and technology competitions. Check out Dr. Dean's Blog for great math tips, information, activities, and lessons!

Perennial math is for high ability math students in grades 3-5. Please ask your child's teacher for details.
