Site Council Input
The site council has input into descisions that affect the following areas: • Ensure the care and protection of students
• Enhance the educational program for the students and community
• Provide communication between school and home
• Sponsor field trips and special programs for students
• Raise funds to enhance the students' education
• Coordinate parent volunteers through a volunteer coordinator
• Promote a sense of school spirit
• Provide input into discretionary school spending

The purpose of the site council is to involve parents and staff in the decision-making process of Greenleaf School. The Greenleaf Site Council consists of five parents, five staff members, the principal and site council secretary.
The term for a site council member is two school years. Site council meets monthly during the school year at 4 p.m. in the faculty lounge. Each member also serves on an at-large committee acting as a liaison between that committee and the site council.
