Each grade level has specific curriculum taught to them at the media center. Each class visits the media center on a regular basis (once every six cycle days) for stories, skills and check out time.

Greenleaf subscribes to several online reference sources
• Grolier includes Amazing Animals and America the Beautiful.
• TeachingBooks.net provides original profiles of authors and illustrators, guides to books, and links to resources on children's and young adult literature
• netTrekker has many educator selected resources, such as lesson plans, learning activities, periodicals, and newspapers that teachers and parents may find helpful.
• Finally, the Minnesota Legislature provided funding for online resources for all libraries in the state. The Gale Group includes an index to periodical articles, many subject specific reference databases.
