Site Council : Greenleaf Elementary
The purpose of the Greenleaf site council is to involve parents and staff in the decision-making process of Greenleaf Elementary School. Site Council members are able to take a deeper look at school and district programming, structures, and provide valuable input to better educate our students.
The Greenleaf Site Council consists of five parents, five staff members, the principal and a Booster Association liaison. However, ALL parents are invited to attend any Site Council meeting to learn more about Greenleaf Elementary School and District 196!
The term for a site council member is two school years. Site council meets five times during the school year from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the media center on the following dates for 2016-17:

Site Council Input
The site council has input into descisions that affect the following areas:
- Support iniatives with regard to the care and protection of students
- Enhance the educational program for the students and community
- Promote a sense of school spirit
- Provide input into discretionary school spending
