Home/School Communication

The Principal's Newsletter will be published four times throughtout the school year. These newsletters are used to communicate essential information in a more abbreviated format than the Gator Gazette.

The Gator Gazette is a schoolwide newsletter published 5 times a year by the Greenleaf Site Council. It is sent home with the youngest child in each family. Its purpose is to inform parents and community members of Greenleaf Site Council events, student programs and schoolwide events.

Grade level newsletters aresent home weekly in grades kindergarten and two and monthly in all other grades.

Grade level newsletters detail units of study and special grade level events. Most school information goes home on Fridays in a portfolio which we call the "Friday Folder."

Each child is given a "Friday Folder' to begin the year. Replacement folders can be purchased from the school store for 25 cents.
