Plays a melody accurately (pentatonic scale in CFG)

Uses moveable do to read and write melodic patterns (pentatonic scale, treble clef letter names)

Reads and writes rhythmic patterns (syncopation)

Identifies D.C. al Fine, D.S. al coda, first and second endings, ledger lines

Demonstrates the ability to read from a musical score (2 part)

Aurally recognizes form (theme and variation, AABA, rondo, suite)

Aurally identifies musical timbres (band/orchestra)

Identifies accents, staccato, legato

Improvises melodic and rhythmic accompaniment to a song

Improvises melodies using assigned form, pitches, rhythm

Composes and arranges a variety of sound sources, vocal or instrumental melodies following guideline.
