FRMS WEB (Where Everybody Belongs)

All Falcon Ridge 6th graders participate in a spirited and interactive middle school transition program called WEB. WEB stands for "Where Everybody Belongs" and is designed to welcome 6th graders and make them feel comfortable throughout the first year of middle school.

Built on a belief that students can help students succeed, WEB trains members of the 8th grade class to be WEB Leaders. WEB Leaders function as positive role models who guide the 6th graders in discovering what it takes to be successful in middle school. All 6th grade students will attend a WEB orientation on the first day of school where they will meet their 8th grade WEB Leaders. During this orientation day, 8th grade WEB Leaders guide 6th graders through a series of fun activities designed to help students get to know one another and learn important information about Falcon Ridge.

After the orientation on the first day of school, the WEB program continues to provide support for 6th graders through a variety of activities during the school year. Social activities like WEB lunches and WEB Game Nights provide opportunities for the WEB Leaders and 6th graders to stay connected and further build relationships outside the classroom. WEB Leaders also provide academic support to 6th graders through programs like Operation Organization and Study Buddies. The goal of the Falcon Ridge WEB program is to build a positive school climate by promoting connections between students that encourage personal and academic success.
