PARENT INFORMATION
Perspectives on Parenting, a
year-long series of forums for parents, is presenting “EVHS: The State of
the School” tonight at 7:00 pm in
the
Perspectives on Parenting also presents 3 parenting events the week after the Parent/Teacher
Conference and Teacher Convention week. Be sure to put the following on
your calendar:

Grade Students: Parents of seniors
are invited to our 2008 Senior
Party Planning meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Room C250. All
Committee Chair positions have been filled, but we are looking for volunteers.
Please plan to attend to learn more about the party and to learn how you can
help. Volunteer positions are needed in all areas. We are also looking for a
graphic designer, as well as a person to help manage the volunteer needs.
Attention parents of Spanish
students in Level 1, 2, 3, 4 and/or 5. Don’t miss this opportunity
for any EVHS Spanish student to attend the Concordia
Language Village in
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
EVHS Students: Enter the Eye
on EVHS contest and win prizes, every month, all year! Entry forms can be
found in the Main Office or the Attendance Office. Decorate an Eye, and answer
4 questions. September winners will be announced this Friday!

for jobs in Aquatics the week of October 15 at

players are reminded to turn in their salt
fundraising lists and money at 5:30 today in the Student Commons. A

All Freshman Football players go to
C132 immediately after school with their midterms.
The Lightning Varsity Girls Soccer team earned the #1 seed in Section 3 and will
play home at 5:00 on Wednesday. Come for the girls
game then stay for the boys game at 7:00. We appreciate your
support! Go Lightning!

Varsity Tennis team will play there Quarter Final Tennis match today at
3:30 at Lakeville Lifetime Girls should report at 2:40 to the tennis courts ,as
we will car pool together

All students who were on the 2006-2007 Speech
team and wish to audition for this season MUST attend the team meeting tomorrow
at 6:45 am or 2:40 pm in A304 (Ms. McCarty's room.) This does include
traveling team members. This meeting is NOT FOR NEW MEMBERS--just
returning ones. Our new member interest meeting will be in November.

Club! Our first informational meeting for new members, grades 10 –
12, will be held on Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. in Room C239.
All LINC mentors should check
their email for the Challenge Day
schedule. The schedule is also posted in the window to the Student
Services office on the west end near Ms. Hanson's office. Remember, all
LINC Leaders need to attend the mandatory session today in order to facilitate
Challenge Day next week. See Ms. Hanson or Ms. Pawlicki with
questions.
There will be a brief meeting right after school tomorrow in
Room C134 for all students interested in participating on the Math Team this year. Please see

Attention ALL students! Yearbook needs your personal
pictures ASAP! We need pictures from your fun summer and the
Homecoming football game and dance! Please submit them on the Eastview
website by tomorrow for our deadline
